Terms of Service

Welcome to Verboo. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our platform and purchasing our courses. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Verboo provides a digital English learning ecosystem consisting of structured courses, live teacher-facilitated sessions, AI-supported learning tools, community channels, and interactive experiences. "Verboo" and "Verboo Club" are commercial names used to identify the Verboo educational platform and services, operated from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

2. Account Eligibility & Security

To access certain platform features, you must register for an account. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information;
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account;
  • Confirm that if you are not legally able to enter into these Terms independently under applicable law, you have obtained explicit authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Course Enrollment & Commercial Model

The primary commercial unit of Verboo is the Course (representing structured language learning programs). Courses may be purchased by individual learners or by companies/organizations for their teams. Enrollment in a course constitutes a binding contract for that specific educational product, reserving a seat in live sessions and committing teacher and platform resources.

4. Live Classes & Operations

Enrollment in live courses creates a mutual commitment between Verboo, our academic staff, and the student or group:

  • Teacher Substitution: Verboo commits to providing qualified instruction. If an assigned teacher becomes unavailable for a scheduled session due to illness or conflicts, Verboo reserves the right to substitute another qualified teacher.
  • Rescheduling: If a replacement teacher cannot be assigned due to force majeure or exceptional circumstances, Verboo will reschedule the session. Rescheduled sessions do not entitle the student to a refund.
  • Student Attendance & No-Shows: Students are responsible for attending their scheduled live sessions. Missed sessions do not automatically entitle the student to a refund, make-up class, or rescheduling, without prejudice to flexibility expressly offered by Verboo or rights required by applicable law.

5. AI-Supported Functionality

Verboo utilizes third-party artificial intelligence models to power our interactive features, onboarding assessments, and speech-to-text transcription. By inputting text or voice recordings into the platform, you acknowledge that these inputs are processed by third-party processors. Processing occurs as reasonably necessary to provide, personalize, secure, and maintain the educational service, governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Payments & Billing

All course fees are billed at checkout. Payments are processed by authorized third-party checkout processors. Verboo does not store or process complete credit card information. You agree to pay all charges incurred at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the services. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any form of harassment, abuse, or disruptive behavior during live sessions or within community channels;
  • Sharing account access or course materials with unauthorized users;
  • Scraping, copying, or duplicating Verboo's proprietary learning materials, curriculum, or designs.

8. Intellectual Property & Student Content

Verboo owns or licenses the intellectual property rights in the platform, brand, original learning materials, curriculum, designs, and proprietary content, except for third-party materials identified as such. You retain ownership of any text, voice inputs, or materials you submit. You authorize Verboo and authorized service providers to process your submissions only as reasonably necessary to provide, personalize, secure, and support the educational service, subject to the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Argentina, where legally applicable. Mandatory consumer protection regulations of your country of residence remain unaffected. Competent jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising under these Terms will be determined in accordance with applicable governing regulations and consumer protection laws.
